Tax Increment Financing

Tax Increment Financing (TIF) is a tool that municipalities use to finance public infrastructure improvements that directly enable private development and investment. Montpelier's TIF District was created in August 2018. Click here to learn more and view the District boundaries. 

Tax Stabilization Policy
