She Fly wins at Barre stop for Fresh Tracks Road Pitch

BARRE - She Fly, makers of outdoor apparel geared toward women, was named the winner of the the Central Vermont stop for Fresh Tracks Road Pitch. The Middlebury College graduates who founded the company went home with over $1,000 and an opportunity to pitch at the statewide Fresh Tracks event in October.


Still Thyme Botanicals went home with the second place prize of $250, and She Fly returned to the podium to receive the "People's Choice" award, with an additional $250.


The stop heard pitches from Adam Mansour and Julien Gilbert from Bodega, Andrew McClymont from goodMix Foods, Georgia Grace and Bianca Gonzalez from She Fly, Dejung Gewissler from Still Thyme Botanicals, Josh Decatur and Paul Lintilhac from Trace, and Mark Isaacs from WonderWindow


The six entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to a team of investors and business advisers. Barre was the last stop for the Fresh Tracks Road Pitch after a four-day trip across Vermont. This was the third year the Road Pitch stopped in Central Vermont.
